Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy informs you about how we process personal data in connection with our offers for florist training, workshops, courses and online courses. Quendrix, 20 Rue du Président Edouard Herriot, 69001 Lyon, France, is responsible. If you have any questions, you can reach us at the above address or by email. The processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

We process data that you actively provide to us (e.g. contact data, information about learning goals, booking information) as well as data that is technically generated when you use our online content (e.g. IP address, timestamps, pages accessed). The processing serves to initiate and perform contracts, respond to inquiries, provide digital learning content, administration, and statistical evaluations to improve our offerings. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract/initiation), lit. c GDPR (legal obligations) and lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of our services). Insofar as we obtain your consent, Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR applies; you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future.

For certain functions, we use cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies provide basic functions. Optional cookies help us optimise content and measure reach anonymously. You can reject or accept the use of non-essential cookies. Your decision is recorded via a corresponding cookie and can be changed in the browser settings or by making a new selection. Log files are maintained to ensure technical stability and are generally deleted after a short time, unless there is a security relevance.

Data is only passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of contractual services (e.g. payment service providers), if there is a legal obligation, or if you have consented. We carefully select service providers, conclude the necessary data processing agreements and ensure appropriate security standards. A transfer to third countries only takes place in compliance with the legal requirements, appropriate safeguards and information obligations.

We process data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes. Criteria for the storage period include in particular statutory retention periods, the continuation of contractual relationships, and the need to defend or assert legal claims. Afterwards, the data is deleted or its processing is restricted.

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you and to have incorrect data corrected. Under the statutory requirements, you also have the right to erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to certain processing. If we process data on the basis of consent, you can revoke this consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority.

The provision of personal data is partly necessary for contractual purposes. Without basic information, we cannot reasonably respond to inquiries or carry out bookings. If information is voluntary, we point this out. There is no exclusively automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk. These include access restrictions, encryption of suitable transmissions, separate storage of sensitive information, logging and regular reviews. Despite these measures, absolute protection against external influences cannot be guaranteed; however, we continuously improve our security measures.

This Privacy Policy is updated as needed when legal frameworks, technical procedures or our scope of services change. The version published here is always the binding one. For individual questions or to exercise your rights, please contact us via the stated contact channels.
